We are honored to be named Small Business of the Year by the
Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber. On May 11, 2022, D. Geller & Son was awarded the Small Business of the Year. We could not have received this recognition without our hard-working staff, loving DGS family, and supportive community. When asking Candy Johnson (Operations Manager-Sandy Springs) on why she believes we were granted this award, she said, “If you follow the history of D. Geller & Son, it’s clear to see that we have a foundation of building up the community around us. It’s a privilege to continue that legacy and partner with organizations throughout our communities. We are truly honored to be acknowledged for those efforts.” From participating in community events like
Alive in Roswell and
Movies by Moonlight to supporting important causes such as
Lifeline Animal Project, and
The Human Rights Campaign, we can further champion and aid those within our community. An incredibly important connection for us is with
City Springs Theatre Company. After many years of the Geller family being involved in supporting the arts, it allowed D. Geller & Son to develop a natural partnership with City Springs Theatre Company. When we invest in our community, we know it strengthens everyone.
At the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber’s Business Awards Luncheon, we had the opportunity to hear from Lynne Zappone, who is an accomplished business executive with over 30 years of experience developing leaders in global organizations across multiple industries. She uses her experience as a corporate officer with an authentic leadership style to quickly build trust with teams and individuals. (
