D. Geller & Son was honored to be asked to be a donor for Rescuing Hope's fifth annual gala. Rescuing Hope is a nonprofit based in Cobb County. It was started by Susan Norris 7 years ago.
Rescuing Hope's mission is to enlighten the public about sex trafficking in America, educate potential victims and first responders, and empower advocates and survivors. The fifth annual gala's theme was "The Time Is Now".
At D. Geller & Son, we love showing support and rallying around our community. We had the opportunity to make a custom piece of jewelry to be auctioned for the Gala. A pendant inspired by Rescuing Hope's logo was handcrafted and "Be The Key" was inscribed on it. Be The Key is an important phrase representing the work that goes behind supporting the fight against sex trafficking. Candy Johnson, Sandy Springs Operations Manager, designed the pendant at D. Geller & Son. She used diamonds and london blue topaz to complement their logo.
The gala was a huge success and the pendant was auctioned off at $4,000. Lisa Simpson(pictured right), owner of
I Heart Atlanta Realty took home the beautfiul pendant.
